As a strong, empathetic, and creative coach and consultant, Amber Galou’s  mission is to help leaders be courageous, grow their potential, and improve their world through discovery and implementation of pragmatic solutions that enable high engagement, improved performance, and greater personal fulfillment. She is known for providing sound advice while challenging herself and others to develop and execute bold, high-impact solutions.

With nearly 20 years of experience with large and small biotech and high-tech organizations, Amber has a successful track record of driving change and serving as a trusted confidant to leaders at all levels. She is relentless in her pursuit of understanding human behavior, including insight into both conscious and subconscious drivers of opinions, emotions, and decisions.

Amber is an ICF certified coach, holding her PCC and CPCC designations, and is also certified in both the Leadership Circle Profile and the Bates ExPI™(Executive Presence Index), the first research-based assessment to measure executive presence and influence in leaders. She is a master trainer of the 5 Dynamics Fundamentals and a certified facilitator of the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI). 


She earned her M.S. in Human Resource Management from Suffolk University in Boston and a B.F.A. (summa cum laude) from Long Island University. She also completed the Strategic Human Resource Leadership Development Program at the Darden School of Business and the Women’s Leadership Program at the Center for Creative Leadership.

Anyone can call themselves a coach, but those of us who take the profession seriously understand the significant responsibility of the credentialed designation. We are grounded in a code of ethics, must continually do our own inner work, and are required to refresh and deepen our skills as part of a lifelong practice.


I am also certified in a number of tools that can supplement my offerings by expanding awareness of one's impact on others.
